The Case for Her
#Period Tax
#PeriodTax was a campaign for ‘The Case for Her’. The campaign aims to change the way the world thinks about menstruation and to undo the social stigmas surrounding it. Menstruation products are taxed and marked as luxury items instead of essentials, whereas chocolate is marked as an essential item. I focussed on this playfully to communicate the message that menstruation is not a comedic thing and should not be taken as a joke. The use of certain props such as chattering teeth, balloons, and party hats were used to display the irony of the situation.
